Miners take leave
The Unity Miners regretfully informed the league early this week that they will be taking a one year leave from the SWHL. We hope to see them back in the league for next year!

SWHL Champions!
Congratulations to the Wilkie Outlaws, back-to-back SWHL Champs! First back to back winners since Eston did the three-peat from 2002-03 to 2004-2005

Outlaws win Senior B
On behalf of the league, Congratulations are in order to the Wilkie Outlaws, who won their first Senior B provincial title since 1991-92 with their dismantling of the Rocanville Tigers! Well done guys!

GAME CHANGE
After some confusion, Tonight's Wilkie Outlaws and Rocanville Tigers Senior B Provincial final is moved to TOMORROW at 2:30pm in BATTLEFORD

Finals are set!
The SWHL finals are set, as the defending champion Wilkie Outlaws will face the Biggar Nationals! Be sure to check back for dates and times!

Round 1 complete
With Macklin defeating Eatonia in Game 3 tonight, it sets up our Round 2 matchups: the Wilkie Outlaws will play the Macklin Mohawks and the Kinderlsey Red Lions will play the Biggar Nationals. The end is near!
After this weekend full of great games, standings changes galore and even a game that ended 10 minutes to midnight, we now have a clearer picture. The Outlaws secure 1st, the Red Lions 2nd, and after that... it's still a mess. One more weekend to figure out 3rd to 6th!

Season in its final weeks
With 3 weeks left in the season, the playoff position race is heating up with 4 points separating 3rd from 6th. Meanwhile, the Outlaws and Red Lions have all but locked up 1st and 2nd respectively. With a lot of hockey left to play, the standings can change every night, and we look foreword to that!

History made!!
Congratulations to currently the SWHL's only female official, Jessica Taylor. Our referee in chief and Jessica herself took some time to make a write up for us and you can check that out in the 'Newsletter' section of the website!

Game time change!!
Word just in that the Wilkie/macklin game tomorrow night in unity has been changed from 5:30pm to 7pm!!

Weekend #2 complete!
After another wild weekend in the SWHL, two trends are starting to emerge; score ALL the goals! (AVG 12/game combined) and take ALL the penalties! (19.2 AVG combined), and with 8 on the docket this weekend, We can assume the trend will continue

Night #1 complete!
With opening night of the SWHL complete, the teams trade dance partners and do it all over again tonight!
