New year, same look
With the first weekend of SWHL in 2017 in the books, we look at the standings and see the Wilkie Outlaws on top, followed by the log jam between the rest of the teams. These final few weeks of games will mean something!

The magic of the Memorial Arena
Friday night's SWHL lived up to the billing, especially in Luseland where Eatonia was back to avenge their 18-6 lose. And scoring off the face-off with 0.5 seconds on the clock to tie it, after letting the possible game winning goal in with 28 seconds left, certainly helps that.

Surprises Early
After a week and a bit of SWHL action, lots of surprises have rose (Nationals winless, Red Lions .500) and some constants (score ALL the goals early). The season is very young, and lots more can change!

New season
Welcome to the 17th season of the Sask West Hockey League! Look for the familiar faces at the rink, including former VP and now President Ron Amy, and new VP Joe Cey. Enjoy the season ans be sure to support all your local teams!
