October/November

First Star: Brett Matlock, Biggar Nationals. The goaltender impersonating a sheet of plywood to start the year for the Nats has been outstanding. On the stat sheet, a 3-3 record with a 2.98 GAA, good for fourth in the league ranked in goaltenders who have played 3 games or more. He also has a sparkling .926 save percentage which is second in the league. On the ice, He’s been a huge part of wins against the Kindersley Sr Klippers and the Edam 3 stars, and almost beating an, albeit shorthanded, Wilkie Outlaws squad that peppered him with 76 shots. 76 shots!

Second Star: Johnathon Redlich, Biggar Nationals. The Kindersley Jr Klippers legend and seasoned veteran has been firing on all cylinders, helping lead a surprising Nats squad in goals (8) and points (15). Redlich also is third in the league points standings. He is also second in team assists (7) and has had multi point games in all but one game.

Third Star: Rory Gregoire, Wilkie Outlaws. The former Battlefords North Star has been on an absolute tear to start the year. He leads the league in goals (11), highlighted by two hattricks already, and points (17). He is also 10th in assists. Rory has had a point in every game thus far, scoring in all but one game.

Honorable Mentions: Brett Boehm, Wilkie Outlaws and Carson Pickett, Macklin Mohawks

December

Third Star: Joel Gryzbowski; Hafford Hawks. The man known as Gryz amassed a 3-1 record in the month, stopping 121 of 128 shots for a stellar .945 save percentage. After a rough November, he has really rebounded. Joel has been a part of two huge wins over the Edam 3 Stars and the Kindersley Sr Klippers.

Second Star: Chris Henry; Biggar Nationals. The former Notre Dame Hound has been a model of consistency and an important cog in what is becoming the surprise of the year so far with the resurging Nats. In 4 games played this month, He has 10 points (3-7).

First Star: Brett Boehm; Wilkie Outlaws. The former Flin Flon Bomber has had an amazing start in an Outlaws jersey, getting at least a point in every game so far, as well as a 5-game goal scoring streak. In 4 games this month, he has 12 points (5-7).

Honourable Mentions: Davis Chorney; Unity Miners, Rick Cey; Wilkie Outlaws and Kyle Donaldson; Kindersley Sr Klippers.

January

Third Star: Darian Dzuirzynski; Edam 3 Stars. Since joining Edam, Darian has been on an absolute tear, scoring 9 goals and adding 8 assists for 17 points in 7 games. Not only did he have at least a point in every game, but he had at least a goal in every game. He has been a big catalyst for the 3 Stars, helping them rocket up the standings.

Second Star: Jeremy Boyer; Hafford Hawks. A model of consistency, he has 7 goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 7 games. He had multipoint games in 6 of the 7 games, as well as suiting up in all 18 games for the Hawks this year. Jeremy has also been instrumental in helping Hafford secure 3rd place in the league.

First Star: Brock Harrison; Wilkie Outlaws. We’re at the point where there isn’t much more else to say about Brock and his playmaking abilities. He has 5 goals and 19 assists for 24 points in 8 games. Every game has been a multi-point game, and all but 2 games have been multi assist games.

Honourable Mentions: Spencer Bast, Macklin Mohawks. Jorden Braid, Hafford Hawks. Jared Herle, Wilkie Outlaws.
